Alumni of the National Law University Odisha (NLUO) and having a master’s degree (LLM) in Intellectual Property Laws from National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ), he is the Managing Associate and deputy team-lead of the Firm’s IP Enforcement Team. Having 8 years of experience in a wide variety of IP practices, including IP prosecution in India as well as the SAARC countries, copyrights, customs–border measures, IP enforcement, and brand protection, he assists clients spanning various industries in a multitude of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including IP due diligence, trademark infringement and passing-off matters, domain name recoveries, dispute resolution, etc. He is adept at providing holistic 360-degree legal advice to his clients, keeping in mind practical business issues, and believing in expeditious resolution of contentious matters with minimal inconvenience to clients.

 

With his experience in the field of IP prosecution, brand protection, and enforcement actions, he is handling complex trademark enforcement cases for a number of Fortune 500 companies in India, as well as the SAARC Countries.

 

He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and International Trademark Association (INTA), is a member of the Academic Committee.

 

Besides this, he is also an avid writer, covering various cutting-edge IP topics such as NFTs and Metaverse, having published many articles on online legal publications such as Bar & Bench and Lex Witness. He has also conducted webinars and workshops on myriad topics of IP laws and is closely associated with the Firm’s Thought Leadership limb and contributes towards the Firm’s publications in various national and international journals.
