Prashant works in the Patent Litigation Team and assists in patent enforcement, protection and dispute resolution for several clients for a wide range of areas, especially in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Telecom and Media Technology (TMT), electronics, mechanical and automotive engineering and related technologies. He is responsible for assisting clients with licensing and technology transfer of patents, especially Standard Essential Patents as well as for IP transactions, IP due diligence and commercialization of patent portfolios. He also advises clients on strategic and legal issues qua regulations and policies related to IP and their interlay with Competition Laws. He regularly appears before the Indian Patent Office, Intellectual Property Appellate Board, Delhi High Court and Supreme Court for matters related to patent prosecution, opposition and enforcement. Prior to joining the firm, Prashant was working in a Delhi based Patent Litigation Firm and played a crucial role in the SEP Litigation before Delhi High Court.
